Being overweight can, if you will pardon the expression,weigh down your efforts to be healthy.

Before starting out on a weight loss campaign, it is best to consult your doctor or dietician first.

Here Are Today's Weight Loss Tips

1. Do not hope that you can lose weight. Decide to lose weight.

2. Find out what your weight and Body Mass Index are, and how much overweight you are. From there, you can plan a reasonable rate for losing your excess weight. It is not essential to lose it quickly; bringing your weight down safely but surely is best.

3. Weight loss is not just about diet, but exercise too. Plan an exercise routine that you can cope with daily, and then adhere to it. Professional advice on your exercise plan could be a great help and encouragement. About half an hour a day is often recommended, on 5-7 days a week. Do it sensibly, and you will start to feel good if you have not been doing enough exercise

4. Eat healthy but well, and you really can enjoy your meals. Avoid negative thoughts about how you will miss your "favorite foods" that are junk and fast foods. More weight loss tips next time.
