Natural Appetite Suppressants and Weight Loss
Losing weight has become an obsession, in societies where eating and drinking poor quality, fatty and sugary food has itself become obsessive. It seems ironic that people are obsessed about getting fat and then have to, in parallel, become obsessed about weight loss.
The weight loss obsession usually manifests itself in search of a quick fix, a pill, a patch or anything that requires no effort. Rarely does somebody think first: I must eat less and better. One possible way out for those trying to lose weight, a compromise is to find an appetite suppressant that works for that individual. An appetite suppressant may not answer all the problems of overweight, but at least, if successful, would at least help to reduce food intake.
That is all very well, but what natural appetite suppressants exist? By now most people thinking about losing weight have heard of hoodia. That is covered elsewhere.
There have been quite a few appetite suppressants on the market over the years. Some have turned out to be scams, others have been moderately successful with few or no side effects. What some people would prefer, though, is to use a low or no cost natural appetite suppressant. Self control is the ultimate suppressant, but as most people struggle in that characteristic, what other simple natural appetite suppressants are worth a try? Here are some ideas:
1. Water - A Simple Weight Loss Aid That You Can Use to Suppress Appetite.
Water is not an appetite suppressant you see advertised as a weight loss aid; there is no profit in it, except for water distribution companies and mineral water bottling companies. It is cheap, and does not warrant advertising. It is mostly a free natural resource.
Plain old water, though, can help you to lose weight, and in a way act as an appetite suppressant.

2. Appetite Control Foods
Certain foods could be regarded as appetite control foods, in that they can trick the body into thinking you are full, thus suppressing the desire to eat. The logic then is, eat less, less calories, less weight gain or more weight loss. Some herbal suppressants act in much the same way.
So, what are these foods that can exert some control over your appetite? Again, water can be used. By drinking a glass of water each time you feel hunger pangs, you can take the edge of that hunger; this is surprising effective, and helps takes your mind of food for a while. Over the day, you may find you eat less at your meals, because the water has made you feel a bit full even before your meals.
